The greater Seattle area was just ranked 13th nationwide for car thefts.
Suprisingly the list of the top most stolen vehicles has a 90′s theme to it. Here is the list according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau:
1. 1992 Honda Accord
2. 1995 Honda Civic
3. 1990 Toyota Camry
4. 1995 Acura Integra
5. 1993 Subaru Legacy
So what’s one to do? Don’t make it easy – lock your vehicle even if you are only going to be a minute. Don’t leave valuables in plain sight. And if the unthinkable happens make sure you have sufficient insurance coverage before it happens.
